Where is SLY - Tiny locative media hack

14 July, 2008 (17:50) | Locative Media, Mobile | sly

Privacy is over. From now on, my location will be published in real time.

Ok, it’s not quite real-time. My phone is sends its position to a Google Map every 10 minutes with 200m accuracy.  On my website, any visitor can see where I am.

This version determines my position using network triangulation, but if someone gives me a phone with built-in GPS (and mobile internet of course), I promise I’ll publish all of my steps. Goodbye privacy!

ps. I need an idea what can I do with such a log.
