Animation in Fluxus
Have you ever seen the thoughts behind an animation? In realtime?
No Copy Paste is a Live Coding performance with algorithmically generated music and visual that react to each other. Both the music and the visuals are programmed in real time while the code can be seen live on the top of the animation.
Though the actors already have their goal in their mind, they can always choose to improvise and build up their final scene in a different way.
With Fluxus and Pure Data, the viewer can be deeply involved in every detail of the creative process. Even bugs or typo are rendered and can be seen or heard by the audience. This pressure of coding from scratch and building up a relatively complex structure in limited time makes every performance unique and unrepeatable.
